Turned out Hector wasn’t lying. He played the game well. Over the next week with the Fasanos we made appearances at business functions and family events. I spent most of my time with Hector and really just served as Tony’s ‘piece on the side’ or trophy when he needed a pretty thing dangling from his arm. It annoyed me on so many levels.
